The main reason of investing in solar water heating system for this family was to reduce their water heating bills by a substantial amount. System Info: MP Solar installed 48 Himin tubes on the roof of the house. This house is facing 25 degrees off south in westerly direction; this is the reason for the extra tubes. The system fitted 500 litre dual coil stainless steel tank and provides most of hot water needed for 5 showers fitted in this house.
